Our client is embarking on a critical technology transformation, moving from on-premises Ascender systems to the cloud. They’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in leading cloud migration projects, particularly involving Ascender.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring delivery across a complex environment, managing stakeholders, and translating business needs into real, measurable outcomes. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced programs and can confidently guide technical and vendor teams through every phase of migration.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the end-to-end migration from Ascender on-premises systems to cloud platforms.
  • Coordinating with vendors, development teams, and infrastructure specialists to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Embedding best-practice delivery methods, balancing agile principles with structured governance.
  • Managing stakeholders across business and technical functions, ensuring requirements are understood and translated into practical solutions.
  • Proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and change impacts, and managing them effectively.
  • Driving accountability and creating a culture focused on delivery and results.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience managing Ascender cloud migration projects or similar enterprise applications.
  • Strong background in cloud technologies and on-prem to cloud transformation.
  • You will need to be able to replot integrations and processes.
  • Track record of delivering projects in complex organisational environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technical delivery and business outcomes.
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party suppliers, managing contracts and delivery.
  • Strong leadership style that motivates teams and instils confidence.
  • Solid grasp of agile and DevOps practices to support iterative, high-quality delivery.
