You won’t be a cog in a machine here. Instead, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of business-critical technology projects. You’ll be the conduit between the business and technology teams — leading analysis, engaging stakeholders, supporting change, and ensuring that solutions are genuinely fit for purpose.
Why you’ll love this role:
- You’ll work on a diverse mix of projects across mining and processing operations.
- You'll be part of a close-knit technology program team that values collaboration, curiosity and clear communication.
- There’s an emphasis on high-impact work — nothing is done for the sake of it.
- You’ll get the chance to work closely with vendors, senior leaders, and technical experts, with opportunities to shape how things are done.
- Hybrid work options are available, offering flexibility to balance home and office time.
You’ll be working across multiple projects, delivering value in areas like:
- Capturing and analysing functional, non-functional, and technical requirements
- Facilitating engaging workshops and one-on-one interviews to draw out insights
- Documenting user journeys and business processes that make sense to both IT and the business
- Supporting solution design and transition to operational teams
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure robust design, testing and deployment of technology solutions
- Supporting user acceptance testing and change management activities
- Technology infrastructure (and software that works together with the infrastructure). For example access control, CCTV, fuel station.
- Experience working with operational front-line stakeholders at an industrial site on technology infrastructure (and ideally a mine site as well). This will be important for being able to work with the stakeholders, as well as being able to have robust conversations when if required.
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in, resources or complex enterprise environments
- A proven ability to work across the full project lifecycle — from requirements through to testing and handover
- A knack for unpacking complex business problems and finding the ‘so what’
- Strong documentation skills and experience working with digital, ERP, or HR systems
- The confidence to work with technical teams, end-users and vendors to build great outcomes
- A passion for continuous improvement, team collaboration, and solving real-world business problems
