Project Manager IT

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their Technology team and play a key role in delivering projects that support business transformation, operational excellence and future growth.

What's Involved?

As the IT Project Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery across a variety of technology initiatives. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be responsible for driving projects that improve systems, infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms and business capabilities.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to define project outcomes, manage competing priorities and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure
• Developing project plans, schedules, budgets and delivery roadmaps
• Managing project governance, reporting, risks and issues
• Building strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors
• Facilitating workshops, project meetings and stakeholder engagement activities
• Managing project resources, budgets and forecasts
• Supporting procurement activities, vendor selection and contract management
• Ensuring projects align with organisational governance, security and change management requirements
• Providing clear and consistent communication on project progress, risks and dependencies
• Driving accountability across project teams and delivery partners

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with project managers who bring a combination of strong delivery capability, stakeholder engagement skills and technology project experience.

To be successful, you will likely bring:

• Five or more years of experience delivering IT projects within complex environments
• Proven experience managing technology projects across systems, software, infrastructure, cloud or data initiatives
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience managing vendors, consultants and cross-functional project teams
• Excellent planning, organisational and project governance skills
• Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and resource planning
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to influence, negotiate and build trust across all levels of an organisation.
