Project Manager IT

Large-scale ERP implementations have the power to transform an organisation, but only when they're led by someone who understands both the technology and the business.

Our client is embarking on a significant Oracle ERP transformation and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of this business-critical program.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, implementation partners and technical teams to deliver an enterprise-wide Oracle solution that will modernise business processes, improve operational efficiency and support future growth.

What you'll be doing
As the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the Oracle ERP implementation from planning through to deployment and transition into business-as-usual.
Working across both business and technology teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring the program delivers against scope, budget, schedule and business outcomes while managing the complexities that naturally come with large enterprise transformations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Oracle ERP implementation.
• Managing implementation partners, systems integrators and third-party vendors.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, budgets, governance and reporting.
• Coordinating business, functional and technical workstreams across the program.
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and critical decision points.
• Building strong relationships with senior business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful adoption.
• Working closely with change management, testing, data migration and training teams to support a successful implementation.
• Overseeing project financials, resource planning and executive reporting.
• Ensuring governance, compliance and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Driving successful cutover, go-live and post-implementation activities.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager who understands what it takes to deliver complex enterprise implementations within large organisations.
You'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience successfully delivering Oracle ERP implementations from initiation through to go-live.
• Experience delivering Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Fusion or Oracle E-Business Suite projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies, including planning, design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover and deployment.
• Proven ability to manage large implementation partners, vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and navigating complex organisational environments.
• Strong project governance, financial management, risk management and reporting capability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience across Oracle Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HCM or other Oracle ERP modules will be highly regarded.
