Senior Business Analyst

We're working with a large, well-established organisation embarking on a significant ERP replacement program, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst who can hit the ground running.

This is a great opportunity for someone who's been through ERP implementations before, understands the complexities involved and enjoys getting into the detail of business processes, stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering.

We're not looking for someone to come in and reinvent the BA framework or lead a team. We need a strong, hands-on BA who knows how to engage with the business, ask the right questions and turn complex requirements into practical outcomes.

What you'll be doing
Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners, you'll play an important role in helping shape and deliver the new ERP solution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and facilitating workshops to understand business needs, challenges and requirements.
• Gathering, analysing and documenting detailed business and functional requirements.
• Mapping current-state and future-state business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Working with implementation partners to ensure business requirements are understood and reflected in solution design.
• Performing fit-gap analysis and helping stakeholders work through process and system changes.
• Managing requirements traceability and supporting testing, UAT and implementation activities.
• Building strong relationships across the business and helping drive decisions to keep the program moving.

What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with experienced Senior Business Analysts who have genuine, hands-on ERP implementation or replacement experience.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Proven experience working on large ERP implementations, replacements or transformation programs.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience documenting business processes, functional requirements and fit-gap analysis.
• An understanding of how ERP implementations work, from requirements and solution design through to testing and go-live.
• Experience working with implementation partners, vendors and technical delivery teams.
• The confidence to challenge existing processes, ask questions and work through complex business requirements.
• The ability to work independently, quickly understand a business environment and make an immediate contribution.
