In 2007, Sense-IT was formed with one goal in mind: to deliver a high touch, high quality service to not just meet, but exceed, the recruitment demands of businesses in Perth whilst providing a great environment for staff to flourish both personally and professionally.
Way back then, Sense-IT was very much a boutique business with just two employees, a big vision and very technology focused. In the early days Sense-IT quickly built a solid reputation for their quality placements, integrity, knowledge and expertise in Perth’s IT Industry. Like any business, we’ve made some changes along the way to stay relevant and future focused.
Today, we have evolved as Sense Recruitment; a leading people provider across Technology, Corporate, Legal Support, Sales & Marketing and Executive for small, medium and enterprise clients across public and private sectors throughout Perth and now the WA region; as well as having both national and international reach. Sense Executive and Sense-IT are still trading names for the expanding services we now offer.
There have been some incredibly tough economic times for a lot of our clients and candidates over this time. As a partner, we’ve remained by their side to weather the storms, including our own. Steering a business through these times is no mean feat. And for all of the years I’ve thought of us as being small, I’ve only just come to realise that paying 80 or more people every fortnight would attest to something much greater. I have many mentors to thank for their inspiration, advice and riding the waves with us.
Our ongoing success would be impossible without all of you! Thank you to all of our wonderful clients, candidates, suppliers, networks and friends who value what we do and have helped us sustain and grow throughout these years.
We have also enjoyed taking an active role in the community outside of our recruitment work; giving back to our community and sponsoring local charities and providing hands on support wherever we can.
Lastly, a huge thank you to our dedicated, exceptionally hard-working Sense team, who live and breathe our vision and values every day and are incredibly committed to the success of our clients and candidates. Some of you have been with us from Day 1, left and come back whilst others have been with us for up to 10 years. I sincerely love getting to work with each and everyone of you every day. And to our past employees who made such a great contribution and are still very much our ambassadors today.
We look forward to bringing many more candidates and clients together and having a positive impact on even more people and businesses for a few years yet.
